Originally from London, Ontario, Dr. Zhang graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an honours in Bachelor of Medical Sciences. She later went on to complete her Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo with distinction. Dr. Zhang is proud to be back and serve the people of London.
Dr. Zhang completed her externships in Manitoba and Alberta, gaining extensive experience in myopia control and management of eye diseases. She was trained at a laser surgical centre in Edmonton, providing pre and post-operative care for LASIK, SMILE, PRK and cross-linking. Dr. Zhang has a special interest in dry eye management, myopia control and fitting specialty contact lenses.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Zhang likes to go bouldering, dancing and travelling. Dr. Zhang can provide eye exams in both Mandarin and English.
